How is the Marcus Evans culture unique when it comes to providing opportunities to women?
At Marcus Evans, opportunity isn't limited by gender, background, or tenure - It’s a culture where ambition and growth are supported and results speak louder than anything else. So, from early on, they trusted me with responsibility and encouraged to step into a leadership role; which I did very quickly.
What advice would you offer to the next generation of female leaders?
Believe in your voice, even when it shakes and don't allow men to control it. Be brave, take opportunities even if they feel uncomfortable, and don’t shrink yourself to fit expectations - my motto has always been "Pequena, pero matona" - "Small, but mighty!"
Which women have inspired you the most professionally and personally? How?
I need to start with my mum that has always supported and encouraged me to take risks and follow my dreams. I'm also inspired by ballet dancers everywhere - because I was one. I know firsthand the discipline, long hours, physical pain, and resilience it takes to keep going. That experience shaped who I am today and taught me perseverance, focus, and strength that I carry into everything I do.
What kind of a role model do you aspire to be?
I want to be a role model who is approachable, honest, and supportive - so I hope to inspire others to believe in themselves and to feel confident stepping into leadership in their own way.
Believe in your voice
