How is the marcus evans culture unique, when it comes to providing opportunities to women?

The company is committed to living out its values and philosophy by creating a culture that fosters excellence and inclusivity. By prioritizing diversity and ensuring equal access to opportunities, the company is also promoting a more equitable workplace, which can lead to better outcomes for everyone involved. Moreover, when employees feel valued and supported, they are more likely to be engaged and committed to their work.

How are you personally contributing towards providing equal opportunities to members of your team? What makes the biggest difference?

I believe in these principles: fairness, leading with empathy, empowering employees, and transparency. By prioritizing these principles, I can foster a sense of trust, respect, and collaboration among employees, which can lead to increased engagement, productivity, and overall success. Fairness is essential for creating a level playing field where all employees have the same opportunities to succeed. Leading with empathy means taking the time to understand and connect with employees on a personal level. Empowering employees means giving them the tools, resources, and autonomy they need to take ownership of their work and achieve their goals. Transparency means being open and honest with employees about the company's goals, values, and operations.

What advice would you offer to upcoming female leaders at marcus evans?

Be yourself - sincerely, honestly, truthfully, and unapologetically. It's also important to speak up when you have ideas or concerns. When we bring our authentic selves to work and contribute our unique perspectives, we can foster innovation and creativity within our organization. Finding mentors can also be a valuable way to learn from others and gain new perspectives on our work.

Which women have inspired you the most professionally and personally? How?

I look to the many incredible, dynamic women in business, pop culture, and politics who shift culture and do amazing things daily, but when I’m ever in need of encouragement or an example, I tap into my own well: the strong women in the company, my family, especially my mother. It's also powerful to see women supporting and empowering other women, as it can create a ripple effect of positivity and change.
