How is the marcus evans culture unique when it comes to providing opportunities to women?
The marcus evans culture stands out in its commitment to providing opportunities for women by fostering an environment of inclusivity, support, and empowerment. It encourages open dialogue and actively promotes women’s representation in key decision-making roles. By celebrating achievements, being able to speak openly and addressing challenges, we are in a workplace where we feel valued, inspired, and equipped to reach our full potential.
What advice would you offer to the next generation of female leaders?
To the next generation of female leaders, I would say believe in your worth and step boldly into opportunities, knowing that your voice and perspective are valuable. Embrace lifelong learning, continuously seeking knowledge and growth, and build a supportive network of mentors, allies, and peers who inspire and uplift you. Own your unique leadership style—there’s no single way to lead, and your authenticity is your power. Stay resilient when facing challenges, turning setbacks into opportunities for growth. Most importantly, lead with confidence, compassion, and a clear vision for the change you want to create.
What kind of a role model do you aspire to be?
I aspire to be a role model who leads with integrity, empathy, and authenticity. I aim to be someone who inspires others not just through professional achievements, but personal as well, and always through a genuine commitment to supporting and empowering those around me. I want to demonstrate the value of continuous learning and resilience in the face of challenges, while fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are celebrated. By being approachable, transparent and fair, I hope to lead by example and encourage others to pursue their goals with confidence and purpose. Ultimately, I aspire to be a role model who uplifts others and creates lasting positive impact in both personal and professional spheres.
What message would you like to share on the occasion of International Women’s Day?
On this International Women’s Day and every day, let us celebrate ALL the achievements of women everywhere. It’s a day to honour the strength, resilience, and contributions of women in all spheres of life, and to reflect on the work still needed to break down barriers and challenge stereotypes. Let us uplift and empower each other, creating opportunities for growth and success for all. Together, we can build a world where every woman is free to dream, lead, and thrive, inspiring future generations to continue the fight for equality and justice.
What does “great leadership” mean to you? What key traits do you value the most?
Great leadership, to me, involves inspiring and empowering others to reach their full potential while nurturing a culture of trust, collaboration, and respect. The key traits I value most in a leader are empathy, active listening and the ability to always learn more, as they create an environment where individuals feel valued and supported. A great leader must be adaptable, navigating challenges with resilience and prioritising growth for both individuals and the organisation. However, no leader can truly be great without a strong, capable team around them.
