What advice would you offer to the next generation of female leaders?

Never underestimate the power of your authentic voice and unique perspective. Success isn't about mimicking others but about leveraging your distinctive strengths. Build a strong network of allies, both female and male, who champion your growth. Take calculated risks, embrace challenges as learning opportunities, and don't wait until you feel 100% ready to pursue new opportunities. Most importantly, as you climb, create pathways for other women to follow – true leadership isn't just about personal success but about lifting others alongside you.

Which women have inspired you the most professionally and personally? How?

Michelle Obama inspires me through her authentic leadership style and unwavering commitment to social change while maintaining her identity beyond her public role. Her approach of "going high when others go low" demonstrates grace under pressure. Arianna Huffington's courage to challenge traditional success metrics and openly discuss burnout has revolutionised workplace well-being. Both women show that true leadership isn't about conforming to expectations but about being genuine and creating positive change while lifting others up.

What kind of a role model do you aspire to be?

I aspire to be a leader who demonstrates that vulnerability is strength and empathy is power. Someone who actively sponsors other women and creates an inclusive environment where diverse voices thrive. I want to show that work-life integration is possible and that setting boundaries is professional. Most importantly, I aim to be authentically myself, showing others they don't need to fit into predetermined molds to succeed.

What does “great leadership” mean to you? What key traits do you value the most?

Great leadership means creating  an environment where everyone can contribute their best work while being their authentic selves. Key traits I value are emotional intelligence, inclusive decision-making, and courage to challenge systemic barriers. The ability to inspire through vision while remaining grounded in empathy is crucial. Great leaders amplify others' voices, take accountability, and recognise that different perspectives drive innovation and success.

Great leadership means creating  an environment where everyone can contribute their best work while being their authentic selves.
