They should not be afraid
to take up challenges and risk
What advice would you offer to the next generation of female leaders?
Be confident. Be independent. They should always believe in themselves and understand their capabilities and potential. They should not be afraid to take up challenges and risk. Voice out your opinions. It’s essential to be a good listener in order to be a good leader. Be supportive of other women and lift each other up. And most importantly, you need to be compassionate, show empathy, love yourself, and never let anyone tell you that you are not worthy of anything.
What kind of a role model do you aspire to be?
Being a mother to my daughter, and leading and managing my team in the workplace, I would like to inspire everyone that they can play different roles in their life yet be successful in what they do. And that we can achieve our life goals and dreams despite wearing different hats and facing challenges in our daily life. I would like to spread positivity, kindness, compassion and honesty to people around me.

What does “great leadership” mean to you? What key traits do you value the most?
Great leadership is when the leader can lead the team/person without bias, with integrity, fairness and logic in decision-making, proactiveness, thinking out of the box, and who is a risk taker. They also should have great communication skills, and the ability to adapt to change.
The key traits that I value most is someone who is respectful towards others, who listens, is able to show empathy, and is genuine and trustworthy.
