10th Edition

Consumer-Focused R&D and Innovation in the Wake of Economic Downturn

26 - 27 November 2020

Live Streaming and On-Demand

What is the effect of the CV19 on R&D co-creation and cooperation across industries?

CV19 makes it certainly pretty complex to interact physically across-industry in co-creation though in the fight against CV19, creative solutions were developed to fight the virus, certainly always organised via phone or chat

How does this crisis drive innovation? What are the most ground-breaking changes?

I can see innovation through the many hackathons that are taking place globally, trying to develop solutions against the pandemic by hacking existing solutions from other fields. This is  certainly driving innovation from grassroots levels to corporate.

Where are technological innovations heading in the next 5 years? How do you see the future of innovations in R&D?

Today is the time to invest in R&D so you can be ahead of the game though the fear is that companies have to save money and will thus reduce R&D spending. Nevertheless Innovation might get empowered differently since people tend to be more creative when solutions are needed and funds are restricted thus i am pretty positive R&D will be more innovative to make the most out of being 'reduced to the max'.

Can you name 3 major innovations related to business model/innovation strategy?

Apple watch, Berlkoenig, AirBnB, LIME

What would you like to achieve by attending the 10th Edition Consumer-Focused R&D and Innovation in the Wake of Economic Downturn Conference?
