A Current company in the Transportation Sector initially prepared their payroll manually, but later outsourced payroll to a local vendor. However, the company soon realized that the system in place was not efficient and too costly. Also, the system was unable to provide audit trails and exceptional reports. Furthermore, there were complexities in recording complex shift work patterns of employees such as the bus drivers. In choosing us they found that they were able to retain the control that they desired and easily process payroll for several thousand employees with the confidence that they were always accurate and compliant.
Aa we all struggle to see how our World, Region and Company will settle in a Past Covid environment we need to be open and observant to the new trends that are taking place. Are we going 100% remote, 50/50, in the office every day or something completely new. As HR Leaders we need to look at our data and help the board make decisions on how to best manager our workforce.
First and foremost payroll must always be accurate and compliant, without that you will quickly lose the confidence of your teams. While it might not be exciting, data security is mission critical in this world with individuals and organizations out to cause harm to both your Business and Reputation. Lastly, if you cant use the HR information to make strategic decisions then your workforce is nothing more than a resource vs Capital that you want to invest in.
