Songdo IBD is a new smart city or “ubiquitous city” built from scratch on 600 hectares (1,500 acres) of reclaimed land along Incheon’s waterfront, 65 kilometres (40 mi) southwest of Seoul, South Korea and connected to Incheon International Airport by a 12.3-kilometre (7.6 mi) reinforced concrete highway bridge, called Incheon Bridge. Along with Yeongjong and Cheongna, it is part of the Incheon Free Economic Zone. This 10-year development project is estimated to cost in excess of $40 billion, making it one of the most expensive development projects ever undertaken.

G-IFEZ Promotion Centre
G-IFEZ Promotion Center was newly opened in March 24, 2015 naming “I-Vision Center”, which had been operated at the “Song-do Compactsmart City” until last year. G-IFEZ Promotion enter is located at the 33-story of G-Tower, running a 3-D theater, Experience Zone, lounge and a gazebo with a spectacle view.

IFEZ U-City Operation Centre
The IFEZ U-City Operation Center is a Core Infrastructure Bureau Providing U-Services such as Traffic, Prevention of Crimes and Disasters, Environment, and info Provision to citizens of Songdo, Yeongjongand Cheongna. The center also conducts safe and convenient city control functions for 24 hours.

Songdo Central Park
It is an eco-friendly site to relax inside the city center which is created for you to enjoy entertainment and rest at the same time with sculpture park, terrace garden, artificial waterway, and moving stage, etc.
SITE VISIT FOUR
Processing and reuse Facility of Wastewater
To reprocess the wastewater from Songdo area in order to reuse in toilets, to clean roads, in environment ponds, to water gardens,etc. Expected to supply 13,000t per day to Sections 1-4 of the new city by sand/activated carbon-filtering the processed water from Songdo Sewage Processing Center.

Automatic
Collection Facility of Living Wastes
As a system that performs the selection, separation, compression and dehydration processes after automatically gathering the living wastes discharged from homes into the collection yard by using the underground pipeline, this is a convenient and clean city-cleaning system of a new concept without operating garbage collection vehicles on the road.
