Well-rounded General Counsel with strategic, financial and negotiating skills, Xavier Schops is the VP Chief Counsel of Mondelēz Europe, home of delicious brands like Oreo, Cadbury, Milka, Toblerone and Philadelphia. 

He was previously General Counsel for global chemical, mining, advertising and automotive listed companies in Switzerland, France and Asia-Pacific. Xavier has a passion for M&A, business strategies and commercial partnerships as well as for the development of high-performing diverse teams. 

His functional expertise includes litigation, corporate governance, privacy and compliance in heavily regulated industries. A French trained lawyer with a masters in Finance, Xavier is currently based in Zurich.
